Good morning!
Some confusion seems to exist about the visitation for Myra Guillot.  Today from 5 pm to 8 pm, the viewing for Myra Guillot is open to all.  The funeral service is at 10 am Friday.  Both are being held at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.

I will also address another issue.  In light of the Coronavirus concerns in our nation and communities, as always our foremost concern should be for the well-being of our congregation and communities.
First and foremost, pray!  We believe in a God who cares about us and hears us.  He is not unaware of all that is happening in our world, country and community.  Our trust is in the all-knowing, all-powerful and all-seeing God. Pray for each other.
Please join our church as we pray for those who are impacted by or confronting the virus — patients, families, healthcare workers, authorities — and for God’s protection over all of us.
Following are some practical guidelines we have heard and read for days and weeks perhaps.
According to the CDC, washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is one of the best precautions you can take to prevent the spread of the virus. When hand washing is not possible, alcohol-based hand sanitizers are a recommended alternative.

As with any normal flu season, follow these “common sense” guidelines for keeping yourself and others healthy:

  • Wash your hands regularly
  • Cough or sneeze in the bend of your elbow (“cough in the crook”)
  • Eat healthy and drink lots of fluids
  • Do not go to work, school, or church if you are sick

As of now we will go about our regular Sunday schedule this week, March 15.  If that changes we will send an email to everyone for whom we have an email address.  We don’t want to interrupt our activities but that may indeed become necessary.
If suspending our activities becomes necessary we are making plans to live-stream some music and preaching.  Also we are working on  plan to contribute tithes and offerings online.
Check on folks.  If you know of anyone who needs assistance let us know.  I am going to use this method of email to stay in touch.  It seems to be the best way for now.
Following this email I will be using my personal email to send information.  aes714@usa.com  When that appears in your inbox it is from Pastor Jerry.
Again, I am sending the link which the City of Pasadena gave us a couple of days ago.

Be certain of God’s love and His care for all of us.  Also be certain that I am praying for all of you.
Blessings!
